核心规则
倒装是改变普通“主语在谓语前”语序的结构。全部倒装把整个谓语放在主语前；部分倒装只把助动词、be 或情态动词移到主语前。
结构与例句

倒装既服务于语法，也可用于强调和篇章衔接。正式写作中可以增强重点，但过度使用会显得生硬。
常见错误
错误： Only when he arrived we started. → 正确： Only when he arrived did we start。
错误： Here comes he. → 主语为代词时通常不用全部倒装：Here he comes。
易混知识点
only 修饰主语时不倒装：Only Tom knew the answer。真正触发倒装的是置于句首的 only + 状语，而不是单独看到 only。

高中学习重点
hardly、rarely、seldom、little、nowhere、by no means、not until 等否定或近否定表达置于句首时，主句部分倒装。Not until the data was checked did we publish the result；从句本身不倒装。
so/neither/nor 可表示“也一样”：She can swim, and so can I；He didn't complain, neither did I。条件句可省略 if，将 had、were、should 提前：Had it not rained, we would have left earlier。
